When is Wedding Season? Generally, wedding season starts in late Spring and continues through Autumn. We had our first Spring Wedding last weekend. It was an outdoor wedding on Lake Norman. The weather was absolutely beautiful. The late afternoon light was perfect for the Ceremony on the shoreline. The magical light of the golden hour sunset was a stunning backdrop for photographs on the pier.

What is a bridesmaids' first look? It's exactly what it sounds like. You'll get into your gown and accessories in a room separate from your girls. Usually with the help of your mom, mother-in-law or other women you are closest with. Make sure to block off ten to fifteen minutes on your wedding day timeline so the photographer is ready. It takes time to get everyone in place beforehand. Then it's the big reveal! Your bridesmaids see you all at once. Expect lots of squeals, hugs and happy tears.
