A Romantic Summer Wedding at Langtree Plantation


Derek and Lexi tied the knot this summer at the Historic Langtree Plantation in Lake Norman, NC. A charming wedding location with rustic and romantic flair. The gorgeous couple had us all sparkley-eyed with lots of joy and love. The couple and wedding party spent the afternoon in the Langtree House getting ready for the big day. Getting-ready shots are so much fun. And some of the sweetest shots you'll take with your besties. We love the matching satin pajama sets. Comfy and luxurious.





Lexi spends private time with her mom as she helps her with her gown. Quiet moments before the festivities begin are special moments.




We adore Lexi's gown. The lace design on the bodice is gorgeous.
We love the romantic, cathedral length veil floating behind her. So dreamy.  
  The father-daughter first look melts our heart.
 

The bridesmaids are stunning in their full length robin-egg blue dresses. Derek is dashing, and his groomsmen look sharp in their black tuxedos.




 Before the ceremony, Derek and Lexi read private love letters to each other. A sweet and intimate way to reflect on their love and commitment.
 The big day is finally here after months of wedding planning.
                


The weather was perfect for an outdoor ceremony. The bright sunlight was streaming down through the trees as they shared their vows. You can see the emotion on their faces. 





Derek and Lexi took their first romantic walk together as husband and wife. The beautiful open fields of the farmland is a perfect backdrop.
