Sweet Magnolia Estate Wedding Venue in Cornelius, NC

Image
Keshama and Eric chose the Sweet Magnolia Estate in the Lake Norman area of Charlotte for their June wedding. A unique wedding venue with Southern Charm. The Wedding Gardens are professionally designed and landscaped. The romantic and serene garden courtyard leads to a platform and trellis. The floral entwined trellis was a beautiful focal point for the Ceremony. It was also a perfect backdrop for wedding photographs, and the classic shot of Keshama's stunning gown. The reception was held indoors in a rustically elegant building with covered porches and ceiling fans. Sophisticated and charming. One of the most fun parts of your wedding day is getting ready with your bridesmaids. It's the only real downtime you have before the show begins. The Bridal Suite was spacious and comfortable. In the excitement and anticipation of the big day, there's nothing better than having your besties by your side sipping champagne and sharing stories. And looking pretty in their matchin...

There are basically two styles of Wedding Photography - photojournalistic and traditional. The traditional style has been practiced for decades. They are usually classic portrait style, and posed photographs. They include group shots of the bride and groom with the wedding party, and various family members and friends. They are timeless. The photojournalistic style captures the action, true emotion and expressions as they unfold. They are candid. Often people are unaware they are being photographed.  So which style is best? Choose a photographer who recognizes the value of both styles. That way you avoid the disappointment that many couples feel months later. They didn't get a photo with a favorite aunt or uncle. A professional wedding photographer will put together a list of key shots. The photos that tell the story of the day. It's up to you and the groom to think about those extra shots you might want to add. Create a wedding photo checklist and gi...
